Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, also known as Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, is a martial art and self defense system developed by the Gracie family in the early 1900s that focuses on grappling and ground fighting techniques. The concept behind Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against bigger and stronger opponents through proper techniques that apply control, joint-locks, choke holds, and leverage to defeat them.
Our academy specializes in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and trains both in traditional gi and no-gi.
